Mr. Buckley is part of a group sponsering Irish night at St. Anthony's for the benefit of the Iona College and St. Anthony's Pipe Bands. Full information is available here.

This past weekend saw the teams in another split squad series of meets. Some members traveled to New Haven Ct. on Friday & Saturday (braving the snowstorm) to compete in the Yale HS Invitational, while everyone else competed at the Boy's & Girl's Developemental at home.
There were many PR's set at Yale, but the top news of the weekend was Cameron Black winning the 55m Hurdles! The boy's 4X800m team also took home top prize. The Boy's 4X200m team claimed 2nd, while the DMR team placed 4th.
Individually, besides Cameron's outstanding performance, some of our other top 5 finishers were Liz Fallon & Vicki Pileggi tying for 4th in the High Jump, while Adekola Agabite took 5th in the 400m dash and Christian Petersen tied for 5th in the Pole Vault. Well done to all our top finishers!

Parents, I have set up a group page on Facebook named Blackwave Parents. This group is to insure that you see the information that I need to make sure you see. I will post that info on the website as well as the parent's page. So please request to be included as it is a closed group, only people associated with it will see the posts. Also, since I had trouble in the past with some of the kids gaining access to the page (long since corrected), I need to be able to see your information page to determine if you are indeed an adult family member. If I am unsure, I will not grant you access.
I created a Twitter account for the Parents as well. Just click the link above to follow BlackwaveParent. I'll post the updates that are here as well as on the Facebook page, but it'll make it easier for those away from their computer.
