The Ladies & Guys competed in different venues this weekend.

The Guys ventured down the BQE and over the Verrezano bridge to race at the Monsignor Farrell Relays.  In our first race of the day, our frosh once again showed how scary good they are by setting the meet record in the DMR, besting the previous record by more than 5 seconds.  We also took 2nd in the frosh DMR.

In another record setting race, Jake Hensler won the F/S 2K steeple, shattering the old meet record.

In the Soph DMR we took 2nd & 4th, meanwhile the Varsity DMR won handily.

In the Varsity 4X800 we claimed 2nd.  In the Frosh 4X400, we took 1st & 4th, while the Varsity took 1st and 5th.

The Ladies also went over a bridge, but in a polar opposite direction from the boys.  They competed in the Mount Relays at Mt. St. Michael in the Bronx.

The Varsity 4X100 team had a good day, taking 1st, 2nd & 4th.
In the Varsity 4X400, our ladies claimed the top 4 spots and 7th.  In the Varsity 4X800, we took 2nd, 3rd & 5th, while in the DMR we were 4th.

The Sophs took 3rd in the 4X400 and won the 4X800.

The other half of the Frosh dynamic duo (our ladies) would not be out-done by the guys.  They took 1st, 2nd & 4th in the 4X400 and won the 4X800.  In the Long Jump, Vicky Pileggi jumped to 3rd place.  In the Triple Jump, Breanna Lyn claimed 2nd and Brittany Coscio took 4th.  Liz Fallon won the High Jump with Banu Bayraktar taking 5th.  Imani Williams took 5th in the Discus and 4th in the Javelin.  Also in the Javelin, Gina Bradshaw placed 2nd.
