The news of the weekend was the victory of the 4X1600m relay and, of course, Pat Farmer. The team of Tom Flynn, Nick Brennan, Frank Segreto and Tom Diliberto claimed the prize. Tom D ran a fantastic anchor leg, overcoming a 30 meter deficit and then hanging on at the end to assure the victory and also setting a new PR for the 1600 of 4:29.65.
Pat, despite some stomach issues, easily won the 400m dash by more than 1 second and in the process, setting the US#2 time for this season!!
Ken Walshak took 2nd in the 3K Steeple, barely being edged out at the finish, setting a new PR for himself.
In the Sprint Medely relay, the team of Warner Cooley, Mike Mastanduno, Anthony Barnes & Payton Hazzard took 3rd.
