OK, now to the meet...
The freshmen started the day off right, with the Frosh "B" team taking the win easily, garnering the first 3 spots and the top 5 in the first 6!  The Frosh "A" team, not to be out-done, also claimed top prize, putting the top 5 in the first 11.

The Varsity, perhaps gaining inspiration from the Frosh, ran a hard fought race and claimed a 3 point victory over Nassau County powerhouse, Calhoun.  The tight pack the team ran in proved to be the formula to success, with the 5 man spread of only 32 seconds, and the 2-5 scorers going 7-8-9-10 helped overcome the #1 finish of the Calhoun leader.

The JV squads also claimed victory with Matt Puhlhowski bringing home the gold in the JV A-2 race.  This race saw the St. Anthony's team score a perfect 15 as we took the top 5 spots.  In the JV A-1 race, Justin Blair raced to a fine 2nd place finish and led his teammates to the win, placing the top 5 within the top 9.

The Sophs next took the stage and provided thrills with a dash for the finish between Matt Taddeo & Jake Hensler, with Jake pulling away from Matt with about 10 meters to go for the crown.  The sophs took the top 4 spots with the 5th runner taking 7th.

On the Ladies side, the Frosh once again led off in fine fashion claiming victory in the "B" race.  The young Friarettes took 5 of the top 8 spots for the win.  With the "A" team, Stephanie Leo led the team with the win, and the fastest female frosh time of the day by more than 35 seconds!  They also took 2nd, 3rd, 6th & 8th to seal the win.

Onto the Varsity race, and in another very close race, the Ladies proved victorious, but by a mere point. They placed the top 5 within the top 14 of the race to overcome a 1-3 finish by Ward Melville.

The JV ladies ran well but couldn't overcome a number of tough teams and had to settle for 5th, with Veronica Leddy taking 2nd and Nicole Krawczyk getting 4th.

The Sophs also claimed a team win as well as an individual win for Alex Russo.  They also claimed 2nd, 3rd & 4th with the 5th runner taking 11th to cement the win.
