Adjusting your web browser

In order to be assured of getting the latest information off of the website ( I update the site, on average, 3 times a week), certain adjustments must be made to how the web browser looks for new pages.  This will NOT have any negative impact on your browser.

Internet Explorer

First open Internet Explorer (IE) and click the TOOLS header.  When you do that, you will see a menu drop down.  At the bottom of that menu is INTERNET OPTIONS.  Click that and it will open up a box.  First, near the top there will be several radio buttons (circles that either have a dot in them, indicating that is chosen or blank).  Click on the top one "Check for new webpage every visit".  That usually takes care of the problem, but I'm a belt & suspenders kind of guy, so next, down at the bottom you will see a box with the phrase "Number of days to keep pages in History". Change that to 0 (zero).  Apply the changes then click OK.  That's all it takes to make sure you are seeing the freshest page I have up.

FireFox

Firefox makes this procedure very simple.  First click the TOOLS header, then choose OPTIONS.  In the box that opens, click on the tab labeled PRIVACY.  Make sure the box labeled "Remember visited pages for the last X days" has NO check mark.  Click OK and you're done!!

For any of the other browsers, you are basically looking to make sure that it is set to load a new copy of the page every time you visit.  If in doubt, press the F5 button to force a refresh of the page (or the refresh icon/text link) under the VIEW header
